Privacy policy

The short version
We collect what we need to sign you in, sell you a Party Pack, and run your party, and nothing else. We don't run ads, we don't sell your data, and your card number never touches our servers.
Who we are
Party Pony (partyponygames.com and partypony.tv) is operated by ByCrux ("we", "us"). This policy covers both sites: the shop and account site you're on now, and the play site where parties happen.
What we collect
Account info. When you sign in we receive your phone number (phone sign-in) or your name and email address (Google sign-in) from our authentication provider, and we store them with your account.
Purchase records. When you buy a Party Pack we keep a record of what you bought, the amount, and a payment reference. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
Party content.Things you and your guests type into the product: the guest of honor's quiz answers, player display names, and game responses. This content exists to be shown during your party.
Gameplay events. Basic operational events (a room was created, players joined, a game finished) so we can keep the service working and understand usage.
What we don't do
No advertising trackers, no selling or renting personal data, no data brokers. Players who join a party with a room code don't need an account at all. A display name is all we ask.
How we use it
To sign you in, deliver what you bought, run your party in real time, provide support, and keep the service secure and reliable. That's the list.
Services we rely on
We use a small set of processors to run Party Pony:
- Google Firebase: sign-in (phone and Google account).
- Stripe: payments and checkout.
- Cloudflare: realtime game servers and asset delivery.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Neon: database hosting.
Each receives only what it needs to do its job, under its own privacy terms.
Cookies & browser storage
We use browser storage for one thing: keeping you signed in and keeping your party running (for example, remembering which room a party screen belongs to). No third-party advertising cookies.
Retention & deletion
We keep your account and purchase records while your account exists. Want your account and its data deleted? Email us (see below) and we'll take care of it.
Children
Party Pony accounts are for adults planning parties. You must be at least 13 to create an account; the products are designed for grown-up celebrations.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
